Hi! I have a question about virtual ram on W8. Here are my PC specs:

As you can see i have 3 GB RAM, but the computer isn't as fast as i want it to be, but it's quite old. Anyways can you have as much virtual ram as you want or do you have to keep the limit on a special amount of MB? Do you guys have any great tweaks to speed it up even more, it's much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Virtual Memory is not handled as it was in XP.
In Vista and going fowrad to Win8, it is best to let Windows handle it.

but if you want to change it,,, Micosofts rule is...

1.5 x RAM = min (in your case 4608)
3 x RAM = max (9216)

Which should be plenty of Virtual memory.

But, I stress again that is better to let windows handle it now as it handles it differently than it used to.

Of course it isn't as fast. Your typical smartphone is faster than your system. The solution is a new system.:p
