Hello everyone,
This is an issue mainly with my hard-drive and not Windows 8. I attached an image to help resolve this problem. Whenever the 'Data transfer rate' reaches 100% I get huge performance issues. This happens whenever I deal with a few running programs that are accessing and writing data.
The speed transfer of this HD is about 3Gbits I think and is interfaced with SATA. Does this mean I have to buy a new HD with larger transfer rate or am I missing something?
I used to run Windows 7 but switched to 8 and with the new task manager I 'managed' to notice the performance with my HD.
Thanks
