I am running Windows 8 (64-bit) on a desktop. My PC will not stay asleep when put to sleep. I went through every device in Device Manager, every task in Task Scheduler. The only external device or task allowed to wake-up my PC is my USB keyboard; I have also ensured that Windows Update, Disk Defrag and Windows Maintenance are not set to wake up the PC to run. I have run a DOs utility (powercfg -lastwake) to check what caused the PC to wake up and it states that it is my keyboard(?!) even though I did not touch it. Any ideas?
