I was running windows 10 until i decided i wanted to downgrade back to windows 8.1 and so i did once i downgraded i logged on, went on to google and noticed my wireless internet is not working. I investigate in device manager and it says there is no wireless adapter in network. But there is Network Controller with '!' next to it under other devices. Im not sure if i knocked my internal wireless adapter or if its broken/dead

You might have to completely uninstall the network device [Control Panel --> Device Manager], restart, give Windows enough time to reFind and install the needed Windows 8 driver for the device.
