WI-fi dosent have a valid IP configuration.

Hi, am using HP pavilion 15 Notebook PC (15-e000se) and i find it very difficult to connect it to the internet using the hotspot of my mobile phone (blackberry Q5). I can connect and browse freely using the Bluetooth tethering but not the hotspot. I tried trouble shooting it but it brought out these likely problems; 'wifi dosent have a valid IP configuration', 'Problems with wireless adapters or access point' or 'Ethernet cable missing or damaged'. Please help me, its really frustrating for two years now. Thanks.

Problem with Wireless Adapter or Access point.

Hi LPhoeliu, i tried to use netsh winsock reset catalog and netsh int ip reset reset.log hit to reset the IP issues and restarted my laptop but still cant connect. I tried troubleshooting again but what i get is " Problem with network adapter or Access point" and "A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken". I tried troubleshooting again and this time it showed me; "Problem with network adapter or Access point fixed". On clicking the 'network' on the task bar to connect and browse, guess what; it vanished! I've updated my network drivers too.
Let me also mention that i[FONT=&amp] can actually connect and browse using 'Bluetooth Tethering' but NEVER with hotspot. My Iphone connects using the same hotspot and a friend's BlackBerry Q5 (my phone type) connects too but why will mine not connect to the same Laptop using HOTSPOT? I have contacted my network provider and YES, they offer hotspot services. This is frustrating, please help me.[/FONT]
