Network sharing

My network says I have a couple devices connected that I'm not sure what they are when I click on them they say unavailable how can I monitor or check what is all on my home network

I always recommend Softperfect Network Scanner not only can it tell how many devices are connected in many cases it can tell you the Manufacturer of the device buy changing some of the options in the program.
