Hello Forum,

I have a Windows 7 PC and a Windows 8.1 tablet. I would like to connect them with a WiFi in such a way, if it's possible, that my tablet will duplicate the PC's display and not only to duplicate it, but to controll the PC with my tablet as well.

So the idea is, when I achieve it and double touch display icon or a key from the on-screen keyboard, the corresponding action is executed from the PC.

Is there a software to do it, or an option on the newer versions of Windows (I am ready to upgrade my Windows if needed), to reach this type of connection?

Greetings

There is software that lets an Apple Ipad do that.. I'm sure there is on PC.. but only thing I can think of is not exactly what you are looking for..

but try teamviewer and look up how it works and I think you can use teamviewer on the tablet and control the PC from the Tablet.. it shows your PC screen on your tablet and you control it from the tablet..

the website will have the correct version you need.. but READ THROUGH the website..

Hello Brooksndun,

I have absolutely forgotten about this program and I was using it a lot several years ago - thank you for your quick reply and that you have reminded me about the TeamViewer. I think, that if even I juggle around with it, it could work indipendanrly from any internet connection.

BTW I have committed a typo in the title of the thread - I meant to write "and controller" instead of "an controller". If modes think, that correcting it will help other people see this thread, probably they should rectify it.

Greetings

If I understand you, I'm not sure how you would have teamviewer run independent without Internet... I can't wait to hear about that trivial trial and tribulation hehe

But I'm all for it! Go for it!

No problem
