    Hide Network from Sharing Center?

    Hello,

My computer has two network connections, my main one, labeled HomeNet, and a secondary, software-based "network" for monitoring the PC's in my house.
I want to be able to hide the software network, that is, to remove it from the Network and Sharing Center, and also if possible, remove it from the Network icon in the Notification Center.

I'm asking if this can be done purely from a customization aspect, so this isn't an urgent matter.

Hey guys, it's been 3 weeks since I posted this, and have seen no response.
Did I get lost in the shuffle?

No you are still in the shuffle. I suspect know one knows if this can be done. I'm sorry but I don't.

I've been trying to set up an old Savin 9033 printer through the company's router, but I couldn't find the network it's set up on from any other computer. So I pull up Network & Sharing, see that Network Discovery is turned off. I check it, go to click on "Save Changes" and nothing happens....

Hello In Win 8.1, I see private(which I want) and the number three, in the network and sharing center. I connect the gateway to the desktop with an Ethernet cable and the printer to the gateway with another Ethernet cable. Both the printer and the latop work wirelessly with the gateway. ...
