Hi everyone - my first post on this forum
I have a Packard Bell Laptop- (Win 8.1) that has had very little use. This has never given any bother whatsoever. No changes to hardware/software have been made, and the laptop has been bulletproof!
In the last week a problem has developed, in that when booting up, the internet icon is showing NO connection. Click on the icon and as expected there is a list of 'available' connections. However it also shows the wi-fi has not started, and it is greyed out, therefore cannot be dragged to 'on'.
Just going away from the machine for approx 5-10 minutes, and surprise, it is fully up and running once again.
Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
