    why do i have to many adapters ?


    Hi

    may i know why do i have so many adapters under network?

    my w8.1 pro 64bit is legit and the only program i have running is eset smart security 7 (nod32)

    my internet provider does support ip6 i guess

    Here: Is it safe to delete the Microsoft ISATAP adapters? - Windows 7 Help Forums

    I would uninstall them, reboot and see what comes back. Some of them may be due to software you installed.

    i removed , reset with cmd as administrator
    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
    disabled the eset smart security 7 firewall totaly ,disable tcp ip 6 ,but they come up always at every reboot

    That's a lot fewer than what you had before. If your ISP has implemented IPv6 then some of them are probably due to that. I also count three that are hidden devices.

    disable the tunnel adapters
    Code:
    netsh int teredo set state disabled
    netsh int 6to4 set state disabled
    netsh int isatap set state disabled
    and to re-enable them
    Code:
    netsh int teredo set state default
    netsh int 6to4 set state default
    netsh int isatap set state default
    but is it safe disable the tunnel adapters ?
