Hello All,

I am trying to start my hosted network on my windows 8.1 laptop using the following .Bat script
Code:
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=nickswifi key=12345678
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
set/p name= done!

The output is this:
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=nickswifi key=1
2345678
The hosted network mode has been set to allow.
The SSID of the hosted network has been successfully changed.
The user key passphrase of the hosted network has been successfully changed.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>netsh wlan start hostednetwork
The hosted network couldn't be started.
The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested opera
tion.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>set/p name= done!
done!

One day I just started getting this error ("The hosted network couldn't be started. The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested opera
tion.") Before that It worked perfectly. I would double click the .BAT (running with admin) and it would fire right up. Then I could bridge the connection with my wireless network that is connected to the internet, and I could connect to the hosted network with my phone and have internet access. There are many uses for this (lan parties when no wifi is present, file sharing, etc)

So today I was sending error reports in and I saw that one of them had to do with the Hosted Network Driver. I clicked on the temp files and they are attached.

Im hoping someone can make sense of the files for me and let me know what to try.
