As long as it is the correct driver, WiFi is turned on, then you should be seeing SSID's available.

Make sure the Wireless is turned on. There will be a switch or a Fn + F key combo that controls this.

In the screen shot it shows Wireless with a red X through it so it's definitely not active.

Where I work, we mostly use Lenovo computers. Drivers are always a pain. It seems that that ones that they offer when you enter the model info is never the correct driver. Try to uninstall the driver and search the computer for drivers. There is usually a drivers folder there by default.
Or if you have a hotspot or can tether your phone, use that as an internet source and do a check in windows update

Hello. To any one facing issues in WiFi signal strength, frequent drop in signal in Flex 2 14/15, please note it's completely a hardware issue with this model. The fix is simple though. It appears that the cable which connects antenna with the adaptor is not designed to hold on to the connections.

There are two ports. Main and AUX in the network adaptor. If you open laptop, you will see one of them have will have loose contact/no contact with the antenna wire. My authorized technician had to reassemble my laptop numerous times because of failing contact and finally tapped the wires to the port inspite of installing a new NW adaptor.

So head to the service center folks. This is a design issue and affects few.No driver can sort this out.
