Hello ... I have a flash drive attached to my Netgear wireless router that I make backups to and transfer files to and from other computers at home. It was formatted as NTFS and set up in the router about 2 weeks ago. I just noticed yesterday that all the folders in the drive have dates of 2003 -- even new folders I created today. The files inside all seem to be fine, with correct dates.
I am positive the drive did not start out this way. It was functioning normally. Does anyone know what could have caused these weird folder dates and how to prevent this from happening in the future? Is there any way to fix this? Could the backup program I am using be causing this problem? It is Syncback and it is doing automated backups to this drive.
The computer I am using is a new Asus T300 Chi with Windows 8.1.
Any ideas? I am stumped.
