Hi,
I'm having trouble finding huawei e3572 pocket wifi on my wifi connections list. Others who are also using win8 have the same issue, but those using win7 found the network automatically and could connect. Cable connection to the same router is working. Is this a general connection issue for win 8 and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

It would not matter what version of windows you are using. As long as the Hotspot is transmitting a SSID, using a Wireless band that you can connect to (g or n), then you should not have any issues.

I would personally talk to Huawei about this issue, and see if there is a solution with their product.

Hi, thanks for answering. Anyways, whoever has the same issue, the weirdest solution helped us. Changing location, time zone and language to the same one that the router's using. Maybe it's due to the router using a 4G network card.

Ummm.. thanks for a thorough explanation. As I said, I'm just writing down what worked so that another person with the same issue would know just to try it.
Have a nice day.
