Solved ipv6 Connectivity - No Internet access

Windows 8.1 64 on a Dell Inspiron 15. It was running sluggishly, so I ran a full scan using Windows Defender. It detected 1 item - something called PennyBeeLinkury, which was listed as a High risk, and Defender removed it, wanting a reboot to complete the process.

After that reboot I have no internet, even though the wireless icon in the system tray says otherwise. I have run Malwarebytes and ADWCleaner, neither of which found anything. SFC /Scannow found no integrity violations.

Maybe somebody here can make sense of these screens.
The first one is the Networking and Sharing Center - never seen anything like this
The second is the Wi-Fi Status screen
The third is the results of the Network Troubleshooter

To collect IP configuration information easily, do the following:

Open a Elevated Command Prompt:

XP, Vista or Windows 7:

Click on the Start button and type cmd.
DO NOT press Enter or click Go.
Look at the upper part of the window and you will see cmd.exe.
Right click on it and select Run as Administrator.

Windows 8 or 8.1:

Press WIN + X to open Start context menu.
Select Command Prompt (Admin).

Paste the following into the Command Prompt window, exactly as shown, including double quotes:

cmd /c "ipconfig /all > postme.txt & ping yahoo.com >> postme.txt & reg query "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings" >> postme.txt & notepad postme.txt & del postme.txt"

and press ENTER.

A file will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the contents here. Close the Notepad window and the file will be deleted and the Command Prompt window will also close.

I changed the adapter settings for preferred and alternate DNS servers for TCP/IPv4 from Obtain DNS server address automatically to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively and I'm up and running. Don't know why removing that virus should've screwed things up.
