Gang - thought I would toss this chum out: I have noticed on 8 and 10 that the default "Network" view/column in Task Manager [with all details exposed] does not seem to give an accurate and/or complete picture of reality.
Case in point that triggered the labor of coming here: Windows Update running flat-out [50 or so updates, roughly 750MB], showing in device properties around ~14mb/s as the downloads process, but in Task Manager it shows barely alive.... virtually nothing. something like 0.2%
what's it good for?
Secondly, where is the control to add functions/columns to the Task Manager view as we had in 7?
