Hey, i try to make Task Scheduler to execute script every time the external IP changes.
I use Iphlpsvc as event source and 4200 as event id.

When i switch wifi connction: external ip changes but script never starts.
i tried to run it manualy - the script itself works perfectly.

Is there any way to run vbs script everytime IP changes?
I'm using windows 8.1 core OS

What you're showing is event viewer(which you have to pick an event level to see anything that happened) which just shows logs of things that have happened including custom views. To set up a task you need to go here:

You might have to wait a little while longer until someone more experienced in this kind of thing jumps in. I was thinking, you had mixed up event viewer with task schedualer, but now I see you just wanted to show the results. Did you choose an event level to show in viewer like informational, warning, error or maybe all of them?
