I can't connect my laptot through ethernet conection.Keep getting
"Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration ERROR.

Our router broke down because of still unknow reasons and I tried connecting directly with the internet cable.
On my PC the internet is working, but on my laptop i cant get it to conect!.
On my pc i have windows 7, and on my laptop i have windows 8.1 Yesterday i managed to connect to the internet using the "share"
option with the PC. But now, not even that works.

My internet comes from a local internet provider called RCS-RDS and i'm connected through a modem ACCEoC21.
I reseted that modem in all ways possible, it didn't do nothing.
I tried using a static ip on my laptop, it still didn't work.
I did a system reset to a day when my internet worked.

NOTHING WORKS!

If you're connected to a hotspot or domain network, contact the network administrator. Otherwise: 1. Unplug or turn off the device. 2. Once all the lights on the device are off, wait at least 10 seconds. 3. Turn the device on or plug it back in to the power outlet. To restart a router or modem that has a built-in battery, press and quickly release the Reset button.
Reset the "Ethernet" adapter Completed

This can sometimes resolve an intermittent problem.

Welcome to Eight Forums,

Have you tried uninstalling the network driver then installing the latest driver? You should locate and download the latest one from the manufacturer's site if you haven't done this yet.
