Like a lot of people on this forum I am having a problem of always disconnecting from my internet in intervals of like 10 - 20 minutes. This only happens when I am connected by an ethernet cable, but when I am using wifi everything seems to be okay. I have a razer blade 14 2013 using a usb to ethernet adapter from inateck and is running windows 8.1.

There is not a lot of people on this forum that are having disconnect issues with Internet or LAN. Every person's problem is always different why it happens. You cannot compare your issue to the issue that others have had.

I would suspect either the adapter is bad, has a newer driver available, or it just needs to be uninstalled/re installed. Also check in Device Manager - go to the properties for the adapter and make sure the Power tab does not allow the device to go to sleep. Maybe check the USB ports in the same way.
