Cannot Find Any Networks

Hello,

Im having a sudden problem on my computer concerning networks.

I use two different methods for connecting to my sky router, first being regular wifi connection to the router, the other is putting an Ethernet cable from my computer to a Sky Booster that is just outside my room to give better connection upstairs.

If I try using wifi it just shows that there are "no connections available" and if I put in the Ethernet cable, it connects to a network called "Network 4" but it doesn't give any signal, just the identifying yellow caution.

Just thought I'd mention, on my network devices it just shows two devices, my ASUS wireless card and Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.

any help appreciated.
