Proxy server refusing connections

All of my browsers are giving this or similar messages. I've checked the Control Panel and don't see anything about Proxy Server. What do I do to fix this? Thanks.

It is usually the sign that the machine is infected from Malware.

Hi broe23, I have scanned it with Malware Bytes Anti Malware Premium and it is not finding anything. I'm using another computer (Win7) on the network through the same router and it is working perfectly. Are there any other possibilities? Thanks, Jim

Go through the whole process that is spelled out in READ & RUN ME FIRST Malware Removal Guide (incl. spyware, virus, trojan, hijacker) - MajorGeeks Support Forums. The Farbar tools over at bleeping computer can sometimes fix these things. I would first run Speccy to see if it shows why you are getting the proxy issue.
