What version of firmware is in your ASUS router? There was an issue with one of the versions relating to losing the 5GHz WIFI.

Thanks a lot guys and thanks for putting up with me. I have the latest firmware version provided by Asus. I know there are some third party versions many prefer so I'll look into the and change the way 2.4 to 40. I'm a computer science major for crying out loud. I've got a lot to learn. Thanks again. Hopefully I can start contributing soon.

Vergil a lot like myself self taught ourselves this stuff. I have been around home computers since I was 11. I basically just rolled up my shirt sleeves and figured out by research and doing. You have to take some stumbles every now and then. But your problem is something that is odd.

I doubt it is related to your monitors, unless you have a Plasma tv putting out a lot of RFI.

Can you share the specific firmware version number?
