WiFi Issues?

Hey, recently I purchased a Toshiba Windows 8 laptop. The laptop is self is great, although I have some problems. I'm a computer geek and I use my laptop all the time. Randomly my WiFi doesn't agree with my laptop and the it becomes very slow. I use Firefox but it isn't the browser because I've tested it on other browsers and it does the same thing. Well, what happens is my internet connection becomes very slow and I can't connect to any webpages. I don't think it's my WiFi because when I restart my connection (turn off and on) or restart my laptop everything is perfectly fine. The weird thing is this doesn't happen at all on my desktop.

For example, right now as I'm typing this my connection is perfectly fine and very fast. Maybe about 15 minuets later it's going to lag out and I'm going to have to turn off my internet connection and turn it back on. I've had my laptop for three months and its been doing this from the start.

Thanks.

If you are using it on your own Internet, I would be looking at a Gateway/Router or ISP issue.

If you have another laptop or mobile device to try it might at least give you some idea if just your laptop or the network overall. Broe23 is right, you could have a router/AP/gateway problem.

EDIT: You should also update to 8.1.
