Hey
So basically when I plug in an Ethernet cable my wireless adapters and wireless autoconfig services automatically disable, and when I enable them, they disable immediately. I want to use my laptop as a hotspot for my phone but it keeps saying wireless auto config service is not running!

Laptop Acer Aspire V5-573G.
wireless adapter: Dual Band Wireless-N 7260

You have to bridge the two connections. You are really better off getting a Hotspot than using your phone as the router. Most phones that can be used as a Hotspot, allow up to five devices to connect to it.

Yea but I have no router, but I do want wifi on my phone, so I figured I'd set up a virtual wifi connection with my laptop. Anyway I can't bridge the connections, it doesn't give the option when I right click on the selected network adapters?

The only way to do this if you have your own Internet connection, is to get a router with Wifi capabilities. If you are using the phone for Internet, it becomes the Wifi Access Point. In order to do a "Bridge" connection, you need to do that from the Control Panel in the Desktop mode and create a Bridge Connection in Network connections.

This is all Networking 101.
