Wi-Fi WILL NOT work on Lenovo S514 Touch Laptop...

So we have a Lenovo S514 Touch laptop that is just a few months old. We can't seem to get it to hook up to our wireless internet. It connects to other wi-fi internet just fine on our cell phone, mobile hotspot, and other wi-fi networks, just not at home.

I've read MANY different suggestions and tried them all to no avail. We did download the 8.1 update so I did a restore to 8, still not fixing the issue. Have turned off the battery and wi-fi battery saving options, deleted the A/V, and non-essential Lenovo apps.

What do I try next?!

Try changing to name on your wireless router..
There is a way to tell windows to ignore a network and forget a network.. maybe this is what happened,
but I would also figure a Reset or Refresh (not restore) of windows would correct the issue

I will try to change the name on the router tonight when he gets home with the laptop.

Just a few other notes, we have a Netgear Nighthawk router. Also, when plugged into the router, the laptop in question works just fine. It always shows limited connection when trying to use the wireless or connected but it doesn't actually connect.

There is a rest button, somewhere on the router.. Push and hold for 10 seconds to reboot and reset router to factory defaults..

You can try that to...
