If it s showing as connected to unknown network via wireless

That is because of two possible things - the routers SSID is set as "unknown" or the router is not broadcasting it's SSID

the SSID is the routers 'name"

Hi
If you are still experiencing same issue. you can delete the Network Profile Manually by using Command Prompt

start Command prompt as administrator and type the following command: netsh wlan show profiles.

t will display all the wireless network profiles stored by Windows 8.1. The list can be long if you used your laptop or tablet for more than a couple of weeks.

Identify your network name and then type the following command to remove it:
netsh wlan delete profile name="profile name".

As an example, I wanted to remove a wireless network profile named bhoopendrasingh and I typed
:
netsh wlan delete profile name="bhoopendrasingh".
