internet slow after updating wireless lan driver

My hp support assistant said I had a wireless lan update, so I updated it and now my internet is slow .do you think I should do a system restore to fix the problem? or would retstarting my laptop fix the problem?

Go into Device Manager under the Control Panel, find the Network devices, then find the Wireless adapter, then choose the "Driver" tab for your wifi adapter and rollback to the previous driver. Then reboot.

I restarted my laptop and the problem was still there so I did a system restore and now windows won't load properly!
