Strange phones listed on Network heading

When i go into Network on Windows 8 laptop, under the heading Computer i see my computer, under the Network Infrastructure header i see my my router, but sometimes under Phones i see odd phone names such as C1395 (Sony Experia) and today Paggioo (Prestigio). I can delete them but they keep coming back. Why are they there and how do i clear them permanently

My own mobile phone is an LG and i also have an Amazon Fire HD tablet

Sounds like the Wi-Fi in the phones is being seen by the Router. Be sure to have a password set on the Wireless part in the Router setup so they can use your service.
