WiFi Connection is Good But Can't Connect to the Internet

    Hello.

I have a problem here. Everytime I connect to my WiFi, it looks like this:

It says "Internet Access", but I can't access any website. What is going on here? The only solution I find this so far is to turn off the Wi-Fi adapter then turn it on again. It makes me tired. Is there any solution available?

Oh yeah, I've tried updating the driver, but it says "Your Adapter is up to date".

    Adapter: Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Akip

Try to troubleshoot it ? In notification area, bottom right, right click the network icon.Click Diagnose in WiFi Status from image you posted. Might need reset adapter. Which browsers any, IE too, see you use Mozilla ? What exactly does it say in browsers ? Try reset browser too.

I have already do it. The troubleshooter says couldn't identify the problem. Yeah, reseting the adapter is my only choice, but after some time it happens again. Any browser, even my Steam (software) can't connect to internet too.

    Thanks.

How about Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections tab, LAN settings and assure a checkmark in ONLY the first item? It's usually set by default but some infections or programs can change it. Don't want anything in Proxy unless your ISP needs it and they'll tell you.

I've checked everything including router settings. No problem in there.

I never touch any LAN settings in Internet Options.

Oh yeah, I've checked this with my friend's Wi-Fi, but the problem is same. Not only once, but twice. So, it is not my route.

    Thanks.

I never touch any LAN settings in Internet Options.
But did you look at them to verify they are correct? With WinXP one had to make that setting about "Automatically detect......" but Win7 installs with it set by default. Reiterating my statement, infections are known to change things.

Yeah, I've tried check it back and it's been "Automatically Detect...." like you said before. It is the very first option. I don't know what to do.

    All I got is this:

[Windows Key] + [X] and select Command Prompt (Admin).

At the command prompt type: netsh winsock reset catalog and press [Enter].

Next type: netsh int ip reset reset.log and press [Enter].

Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.
