in my office, i have a win7 pc connected to university network, and my win8 laptop wireless connected to the network. i think the two computers are in different subnets. i shared a folder in both computers and interestingly, i could map the win8 shared folder in my win7 pc, but not the other way. the win8 laptop always says 'communication poblem' with win7 pc. what could be the problem?

I also have a printer shared in win7 pc, and i could not find it using the win8 laptop as well. any suggestion? thanks a lot.
