desktop still memorize the old SSID

I changed the SSID, all wireless connected eqipments display the new SSID, but the desktop still displaying the old SSID even it has been restsrted.

How to make it display the new SSID?

Did you power-offthe Router [unplug the power cord] then reboot the Desktop followed by plugging the Router back in?

Your System Specs mention nothing about the computer, more to it than just the version of Windows and even that is incomplete.

There are some discussions about this issue on the internet, the old profile can be removed by editing the registery.
