RDP works very well on port 3389, which is forwarded through my router. If the port isn't forwarded, RDP obviously won't work. The second I apply the forwarded port, RDP will see the connection and ask for my login credentials.

After changing the port number (from 3389 to something else) in regedit (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp -- PortNumber), forwarding that port in my router and restarting my computer (in addition to the 3 RDP services), that port simply doesn't work. I can change the port back to 3389 and restart the 3 services (no need to restart the computer, it seems), and RDP will instantly start working again.

RDP is supposed to work on other ports, but I just can't seem to get it working... Any ideas?

Update: Turns out that I needed to add a new inbound rule under "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" to allow my new TDP port through.

All is good now :geek:.
