Bluetooth frequencies conflicting

Hi y'all,
I recently bought a bluetooth adapter for my speakers, so that I can play from my phone or PC without connecting cables. Works great, except that on the PC my bluetooth mouse conflicts with the speaker -- when I move, click or scroll the audio pops and cuts out. I'm guessing it's because they're on the same frequency, but I'm wondering if there's any way I can adjust that so that they don't conflict. Any help is appreciated!

Are you using the same BT adapter for both the speakers and mouse?

They're just both connected to the bluetooth that came in my laptop. Not sure if that's physically one adapter or not.

Yes it is one adapter. It may be that the adapter is having to commit all resources to stream music, and when you use the mouse, it is causing the hick up. Basically not enough resources available for both at the same time. These adapters are meant really for keyboard & mice, not something like music streaming and another device.

Any way to improve that? A plugin bluetooth adapter, perhaps?
