So I got a Asus cm6630 and I always had it connected to a broadband but now I moved my computer and when I try to connect to the wifi it doesn't detect any. When I click on the internet on the bottom right it has a x on it and it says Wi-Fi 2 no networks found. Help ASAP. I'm on windows 8 by the way

Try this for starters:

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories, right-click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator. Windows 8 users press [Windows Key] + [X] and select Command Prompt (Admin).
At the command prompt type: netsh winsock reset catalog and press [Enter].
Next type: netsh int ip reset reset.log and press [Enter].
Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

You say you moved it. Not sure what you mean. A wireless connection? Are you too far from the router?

I moved my computer so It's not connected to the broadband. It's not too far it's like 20ft from the router. All other devices connect to wifi with no problem

Have you tried deleting the adapter in the device manager and restarting? the driver may be corrupted. that should reload the driver.
You can go to the adapters website and download updated driver or the driver your using now just in case it is corrupted and reloading doesn't work.

It seems like my computer can't detect wireless networks

So you went to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center and selected "Setup a new connection or network" then "Manually connect to a wireless network" and enter the info but still won't connect?

Your wireless adapter is on?

Are you sure the router is even plugged in and working, or even the wifi enabled. Can you connect to the router via Ethernet and recheck its settings. How long have you had the router? What is the mfg & model of the router/gateway?
