Situation: I play online games such as WoW and Diablo. My WiFi connection is a little sketchy because of the distance from my router. Instead of a range extender I purchased a Powerline Adapter Kit. It works great and totally solved my problem except for one thing. The connection through the Powerline Adapter is slow about 9-10mbps where as my speed through my WiFi is about 60mbps.
Just wondering if there is anyway that I could setup some sort of shortcut or something to disable Ethernet when I'm not playing games? I know I go into the network settings and everything and disable the Ethernet adapter on the computer or pull the cord from the back (neither are a huge pain just wondering if there is an easier option).
