Single Wifi disappeared from Windows 8.1 laptop

The WiFi I usually use has disappeared from the list of WiFis my laptop (Windows 8.1 HP Pavilion) detects. It's still visible to my Android tablets; they're both connected to it and it's from one of them I'm posting now. I've tried restarting the laptop, of course, with no effect. The router still seems to be working normally, and my laptop is less than 3m away from it. Perplexingly, this is the only WiFi that has disappeared from my laptop's usual list of WiFis nearby. Any ideas on how I could fix this?

I have a screenshot of the results of ipconfig/all, but can't see how to add an image to this post.

It helps to know the mfg & model of the Gateway/router if this is your own network.

There are a lot of numbers on it that I don't know the meaning of, but the one that looks closest to a model number that I can see is 'TG587n v3'. If mfg=manufacturing=manufacturer, then Technicolor. Is this the right information? (It is my own network.)

Who is your ISP? Since this is a common Gateway that ISP's hand out. It is common that people have ran into where the SSID beacon on them disappear when some devices go to connect.

Make sure that the SSID is enabled, you also have the latest drivers for your wifi adapater installed on the computer. Now you can ask your ISP to "Bridge" the Gateway and use your own router, or just turn off wifi and use your own Access Point for Wireless.
