Network connection virtual windows 10

I have installed windows 10 on virtual machine ( VMware 10.3) but I can not get internet connection.
Also sound card not recognized
I note the virtual machine did not install into my C drive. It automatically installed onto my large drive

Can anyone help with this problem?

Did you install the VMTools in your VM? The audio driver is usually installed with VMTools. As far as the internet, what do you have your network adapter configured as? If not already configured as such, try NAT.

    Retired in 2015 after working in the tech industry for 41 years. First 10 years as a Technician, the rest as a programmer/software engineer. After 1 year of retirement, I was bored so went back to work as a Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Retired for 3rd (and final) time in 2019.
I do not think I installed VMware tools. I will check later ( it is now 5 am here and am on my iPad. Also I do not seem to have a network adapter driver. I have set to NAT
