Windows 8.1 Limited Internet Access Problem

Helo there. Lately I've upgraded my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and had problem with Wi-Fi connection. Every time I connected to a network it said limited access. I've solved this problem and wanted to share in order to help other people having same problem as well.

Source of this problem (in my opinion) is, driver software version. When upgrading to Windows 8.1, it upgrades your Wi-Fi adapter driver software as well. So when I downgraded it, problem is solved.

Here is my solution, I'll go step by step.

1. Right click on This PC (Computer). Choose Manage, and go to Device Manager.
2. Find Network Adapters, expand it and right click on your Wi-Fi adapter. Click on Update Driver Software.
3. At that point you'll have a window with two options. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software." because we don't have internet connection.

4. In next window, you should choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
5. Then you'll have a window that shows you a compatible hardware. In this window, you should untick the "Show compatible hardware." This will give us a list of manifacturers and softwares. Like this;

6. From the list on the left, you should find the manifacturer of your Wi-Fi adapter. Then look at the list on the right to find your driver software. As you can see in the screenshot above, there are 2 driver software. The one above is older version of driver. We should choose this. It'll give you a warning pop-up but it's ok so say yes and continue. This way your driver software will be downgraded. Hopefully this can solve your problem. It worked for my case.
