Solved Wi-Fi Adapter not showing in Device manager

I tried everything I know but can't seem to get back my wifi card to work. Please help.

Did that USB DEVICE IS from A ISP if so it has installed a driver that has replaced or blocked or removed your Wifi driver thats why i hate those stuff.

Thanks for the reply,.It is, but the problem started when I was playing around with the software called "Connectify".

I remember it as Intel Centrino N-2230(Correct me if I'm wrong). I tried a fresh install of the latest driver for the card but a small wireless symbol appears for around 10 secs and then disappears, I mean nothing happens thereafter.

Yeah there is a programme that is blocking it from woking you must figuire it out what is the last programme you installed before this happens?

Actually I was upgrading the software Connectify from v8 to v9 and then the problem started. And now even if I uninstall it I can't see my wifi card in device manager

Try to remove the Connectify software from the registry editor. Delete everything under Connectify folder. After that, go to Dell's website and download your wifi driver.

I know to normally uninstall a software but how do I remove a software from the registry?

Lol I'm really going nuts, FYI I already have the latest BIOS installed for my system . It is version A11.

Thanks everyone for your help. I just repaired it by reinstalling the BIOS. My BIOS version installed was already A11 and I reinstalled the same version over it . My wifi card is working good now. I'll come back if the problem shows up again.
