IPConfig /all is not going to help diagnosing your issue. If your problem is with a Wifi connection. Really need the output results of netsh wlan show all. Also need to know who your ISP is, what manufacturer & model the gateway your ISP gave you to use, to connect to their service.

Most All-in-one Gateway Wifi A/P's are garbage to begin with. You are better off just turning the onboard wifi off, and using your own Wireless Access Point. I use an Engenius ECB-350 with no issues on my network.

That last part would have been really helpful. But without you posting the netsh wlan show all at where you are having the issues at. There is no way to help you. When you get to your parents. post the manufacturer and model of the gateway or router they are using.

It is possible that the DHCP Lease time is incorrectly set on their Gateway/router. Or dad is just pulling the plug on you.

Im here now and there is the same problem so i assume that it is in my Computer. And there is it like i am connected on wifi for 10-15 minutes then it suddenly stops working and i cant reconnect i need to shut down the router then start it again and then its workin for a while again. I was reading that it is problem with ip of my pc and router there was that if this is happening then my pc cant communicate with the router because of bad ip settings i checked tcp/ipv6 and 4 but there is all set on automatic. The router is TP-link model: TL-WR741ND thats all I can say about it im not really in to these things. I was just thinking because when i connect to wifi router by cable everything is all right so what if i buy USB external wifi reciever?? it should be workin fine, shouldnt it??

Unless you post the output from netsh wlan show all. There is really not much that can be done. Same as who their ISP is, what the mfg & model of the Gateway if they are using one in conjunction with the router. That router they have is not one of the best ones out there.

That unit is the same one that Samknows was issuing out as their "Whitebox". Too many of them were dying, so they replaced them with the TL-WDR3600 which is a lot better unit. This is the Smallnet builder info on the 3600: TP-LINK TL-WDR3500 N600 Wireless Dual Band Router Reviewed - SmallNetBuilder The problem is that it is still a poorly performing wireless router.

Personally if I was replacing it. I would go with the Asus RTN56U, if you are trying to keep the price down below $100. If you want a really good performing router. Go with the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (avg price $180). Router Charts - WAN to LAN Throughput - SmallNetBuilder That unit will out live what you can ever put it through its paces.

I use on my network, the Engenius ECB-350 Access Point for Wireless-N (300mb/s). Everything wired goes through a Netgear GS-108 Switch, that is connected to my ATT U-Verse Pace 5031NV-030 Gateway, that is just used as a Wired router. I have another Access Point for Wireless-b/g devices that I have on my network (IP Cameras, wifi thermostat, wifi smart powerstrip, printer, Chromecast).
