Internet issues Only loads Google related websites

My internet started doing this about a 3 weeks ago, and I have no idea why. I tried everything I could think of from DNS flush to updating the driver, but to no avail.

Sounds like an odd issue here... can you be a little more specific when you say "Google related websites" please?

It honestly sounds like a virus to me as I have never heard of this happening besides maybe a tcip/ip issue but I don't believe this is what the problem is.

Please download this and transfer to the computer in question

    https://www.malwarebytes.org/antirootkit/

After that if nothing is found please download malwarebytes from here

    https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/

Do scans for each and report back any findings.

Something may be changing the Hosts file, or changed the registry settings. I would download Speccy from Majorgeeks.com and run it, and post the URL you get from the output.

What I mean is it will only load Google , YouTube , Google drive, G-mail, etc. "Google websites". I can type in Google.com and search, but after i click on a link unless it's mentioned above it will not load the page(s).

Have you installed any programs from a torrent site anytime since this started happening?

It is also possible as he said that the hosts file has been changed. If you use something like revo uninstaller to uninstall your chrome/firefox browsers and then reinstall them directly from the google site what happens then? Does the same affect happen after you reboot?

    (1) Click START > RUN > and type in "C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
    (2) When prompted, open the HOSTS file in either Notepad or Wordpad
    (3) Delete all the lines of IP addresses in the text document except for "127.0.0.1 localhost".

Try running the following Farbar tool. MiniToolBox Download Just check the following boxes: Flush DNS, Reset IE Proxy Settings, Reset FF Proxy Settings (only if FF is installed), List content of Hosts, List IP Configuration, List Winsock entries.

Post the results of the Report.txt file that you get after it runs. Run the program from the Desktop, not from metro or the Download folder.
