Solved My internet wont load on my win 8

This ONLY happens to the windows 8 and none of my other (not very nice) computers, this happens to a lot of people and on other forums they say "Change your MTU, set subinterface "Wireless Internet Connection" mtu=1492 store=persistent" but that DOESNT work, It says theres bad syntax even though i type it the exact same way I see it. what is "Wirelesss Internet Connection" ? do I put the name of my connection? How do I know if 1492 is the right number? This problem just started yesterday, how did it happen?

Please hurry, don"t just view it and leave. Because my other computer turns of at random, has a terrible keyboard, is very VERY slow, has little RAM, a partially broken hinge and that's too awful to tolerate.

'internet won't load' ... please describe what what you are doing (web browsing? email? ...) what then happens, what errors are reported.

(Using Chrome) Can only access Google and Youtube, any other site results in "Error Code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET"
(Using IE)Can't access anything, "This page cant be displayed"(no error codes or anything)

Besides that, online in games, skype, and various non-browser services go unaffected.

In the elevated command prompt type netsh winsock reset and return. Reboot and check

If still having problems, open a CMD window & type ipconfig /all and post the screen in this forum...

I fixed it by changing the MTU and changing it back, thanks for all the help anyway
