Can't turn on wifi in newly installed window 8.1
hey please help i cant turn on wifi in my newly installed win 8.1 driver is upto date i checked it in device manager

Turn on WiFi if the device has a wifi adapter built in. Wifi will only work if you are trying to connect to an Access Point or wifi hotspot. It will not if you are using a dial-up connection.

Disconnect from the dial-up connection. Click on it and there should be a disconnect option. Airplane mode should remain off, Wi-Fi needs to be on.
