Hi
Windows network and sharing center says that no Internet access but Internet is working (sort of conditionally )
This is a desktop computer with LAN Connection . only one adapter is shown in network devices.
Currently we are in domain environment and behind Microsoft tmg.

When proxy settings are set to auto detect then browsing is not working on internet explorer 10 but it's working flawlessly in Chrome. however manually entering the proxy settings browsing is Internet Explorer works.

I tried browsing by ip address in internet Explorer but noluck.

It's only on this one pc.

Windows is updated regularly. Scep 2012 is installed with latest definition and foundno issue.

I have tried twice to Reset the windsock and tcp ipstack. Still same result.
Uninstalled network card drivers still no luck.

Ip is assigned by DHCP. I manually entered ip settings noluck.

Scan with malware bytes anti malware found three malwares and quarantined but still no luck.

Network cable is tested ok.

Reset internet explorer settings and restart pc but stillno luck.

Removed Internet Explorer and restart computer and then installedagain and restart and still no luck.

also tried disabling ipv6 no luck.

Internet Explorer 10 is needed as we have some custom applications that won't work with ie 11.

However when I login with another account (another domain user account) all is ok i.e. browsing in IE with auto detect proxy settings is working and also the network icon is not showing no Internet access.

Please advise how to resolve it

Why are you using two different Security products for protection. You only need one. Since this is a domain. The next question is who is in charge of taking care of administration of the network.

thanks for reply

we only use SCEP 2012 as a security software at individual system level.

i installed other softwares just for testing it out.

there is no issue with network as if other system ius connected through the same cable that system works ok.

so it is some local issue in my opinion.

That made no sense what so ever. If it is your own private domain, not for an office. You need to start at the beginning of looking at the problem, not trying to have others fix it for you.

We do not have access to your network. Nor do we know how it is even set up. If this is a work domain and the system in question was never a part of it. But is someone's private computer. You have an issue.

Also running two different Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware products on the domain are going to cause issues right there. You need to decide which of the two AV/AM software products to eliminate.

Also if you are the one that owns or runs this domain. You need to once again start at the beginning to figure out where the problem lies.

this is work domain. and the problamatic machine is part of the domain.

we only run one security product. i.e System Center endpoint protection 2012 .
i installed malwarebytes/spybot only to test for malwares .. these were removed after the problem was not sorted out by them.

if i connect another desktop machine (tried win 7 machine ) to that same cable that machine doesnt reports any network issue.

only this particular machine reports that it has no internet access when it has.

the problamatic machine is on domain. as was the other machine used to test the cable/port.

i have done some troubleshooting as pointed out in my first post but no luck . that is why i came here for some help .

it is single machine cliend side issue so i see no reason to escalate it .

If it is not showing a LAN connection. It is something in your domain setup. That machine should be in the Domain Controller. If not. It will always show not connected.
