Can't log on to the internet

I just installed Windows 8 Pro on an ASUS laptop, but I cannot access the internet. I have a wi-fi router so there's no cable to connect. My desktop (this computer) works fine.

You would need to find the SSID for the wifi on your router. Also you would need to know what the Passphrase is to connect to the Wifi on your router.
