Sharing in non-Windows8.1 Networks - Windows Server 2008R2

I am running Win8.1 on my computer.

It is connected thru an internet router to my Windows Server 2008 R2 Server and my Win XP computer.

Neither of these are showing in the "Network" tab.

    Both are Sharing folders.

Is there any way of getting these to share especially the Server?

Are you saying that both the server and the XP machine aren't showing up under Network on the Windows 8 machine?

If so you will want to make sure that everything is in the same Workgroup, same Workgroup name etc. Not much information to go on here.
