When I save a file to Onedrive on my computer it doesn't sync. I don't use the Windows 8.1 app, instead when I save I select onedrive. I can't figure it out. Or it will save it but it isnt accessible on other devices. What can I do here?

don't use OneDrive, it is the most unreliable cloud service I've used.

It caused me to lose a lot of my data thinking they were synced, but when I try to double click on a file, it seems to have taken all the files and put them on the cloud so my computer neds to redownload the file taking ages

and no I did not choose to make the files available only offline, it is one buggy piece of software and a failed attempt from MS to get into this field

any thing made by MS, I stay away from, Windows Defender, Windows Media Player, Interne Explorer, all crap software

A rather harsh statement - I hope you don't feel it's a recommendation for others who are not particularly tech savvy. What about Windows - isn't it made by MS?

trust me if it wasn't most popular programs being made for Windows and drivers from laptop manufacturers for Windows, I would have loved to switch to Linux but I am forced to use their new unreliable Windows 8 OS because my laptop doesn't have Windows 7 drivers, Windows 8.1 made things worse by not allowing users to uninstall some metro apps like the Photos app, then comes Windows 8.1.1, with heavy OneDrive integration, they want to force people to use it when it doesn't even worked.

I gave it the benefit of the doubt actually and purchased a 50 GB subscription, then lost all my data and claimed for a refund from the Microsoft store.

Internet Explorer, it has improved alot, but still not a browser I would use for my daily browsing because not all sites are compatible with IE11

Windows Media Player, not only is interface is fugly but that's objective, it sometime force shut down when playing my MP3s,
