Self duplicating mapped drive letters for one user only

windows 2008 R2 server, win 7 and win 8.1 wkstations.

For one domain admin user only, when he logs in he sees normal mapped drives. The longer he's working, he starts seeing more and more letters mapped to the same particular network share. So after a few hours he'll have 12 drive letters all mapped to the same network share.

Doesn't matter what workstation. Doesn't seem to be a particular application.
