I'll leave this here anyway
You need to explain yourself allot better.
If your printer is wireless then it should be registered with the modem. Obviously its a wireless modem because your mother is connected wireless. Have you read the printer documentation? If you check the setup documentation it should explain quite easily.
. If its a wireless printer and it is connected to your modem via "WiFi" the printer is on the network
. If the printer is connected to your modem and it is on the network and its the same modem you connect to via Ethernet, then the printer is on your network.
. If you want to connect to your modem via Ethernet and still connect your printer via WiFi (Although I don't understand why) make sure your computers WiFi is on, run the printer software and setup the printer properly
or
. If you go to "Printers and Devices" on your PC, even without running the printer software, you should be able to "add a printer" connect to a "Network" printer as long as it is turned on when you search for network printers and your PC WiFi is on.
Turn on your PC WiFi
Go to control panel and search for "Devices and Printers"
Click on Devices and printers and follow the prompts. If the printer isn't too old them Windows will offer to find the drivers for you.
If you explained this a little better I could probably help better. What is the printer?[/QUOTE
