    Cannot find Homegroup Password

Trying to connect to another PC but requiring Homegroup password. Can't remember what it was or where I wrote it down. Equally I can't fin in via control Panel/Homegroup. Also researching indicates I'm not seeing same help "window" showing where it can be found. I'm running windows 8.1. can someone help me locate where this password is because I can't find it.

    Edit...............

See "Homegroup" in windows explorer tree on Win 7 laptop trying to connect to. See also on Win 8 desktop which tells me I can get password from laptop. Done and now connected. Thanks
